Week Two Wickedness...

If you login you will see that the ladder on The West is a little different to the ladder below. That's because the ladder on the West is ordered according to the past week's results, not the cumulative results. The West version is far more flattering for me, but alas, I must be ethical.

As much as I look impressive sitting pretty up on the online version, our prizes are divvied up at the end of the season, so a cumulative ladder is more helpful!

So, to the results: Poss and Ian are on top (Ian is keeping his tips a secret from now on, despite Dennis Commetti concurring).

Seb, last week's winner, has slipped down to third place but his accumulative margin is looking pretty lean. Riss and Anna are battling it out there in fourth and fifth - we may need some pillows to fight with.

Lisa has crept up a sneaky spot from seventh to sixth, and Trish follows her up smack bang in the middle. The next three are battling it out for the craziest name (DodgyDan, Der Kaiser and khrysztov) and not much between them points-wise either.

Wooden spooner Alan has sat comfortably on his chair, although Shell threatens him with a paddlin' - perhaps next neek. Despite getting five, Ned is sitting third from the bottom - perhaps showing the calibre of our comp? 38% of our tippers snaffled a five this week.

Ladder

6 Lisa Wiese 5 9 53

8 DodgyDan 6 9 154
9 Der Kaiser 4 8 67
10 khrysztov 4 8 83
11 Ned 5 8 90
12 Dan and Shell Martindale                                           4 7 83
13 Alan 4 6 129

Out of interest, in The West comp the lassies are beating the laddies, with the average female score on 8.47, while the average male score is 8.34.

On other trivia, in the Kuraman comp, no-one tipped Richmond or Collingwood. How clever.

Should you wish to brag about your position in the ladder to your friends, the link below will make it easier than pressing 'Fwd' (and will keep the email looking pretty):

Lwethu Szibandze

World Vision have got back to me regarding a village present for Lwethu. Apparently the only way we can donate to his village (and therefore get our money directly to him) is to provide WV with the minimum gift amount ($147) - they spend it and then tell you what they have done with it.

I trust them to spend it on what the village requires, but if anyone has any issues with this process (as back-to-front as it seems), let me know and we'll pick another charity to forward our funds to. Kuraman will top up the 20% portion to equal $147 so no-one loses out on prize money.
